Hello, thank you for dropping by - I love having you stop in!
Each new year I spend time retreating, reflecting and rediscovering what things I want to focus on in the year ahead. Much of my direction comes from recognizing the Lord’s hand in the last 12 months. I take a step back to evaluate what has been fruitful in my Christian walk and what has not. I pray over and consider what I may trim out of my commitments leaving time for margin. From nourishedplanner.com I read this definition of margin:
“Margin is the boundaries, the rest that is built into your everyday life. It is the space between our load and our limits. Margin is the gap between rest and exhaustion, the space between breathing freely and suffocating.”
It’s a new year and I am giving you some free downloadables to encourage you in the journey ahead and to help you have margin in your life! Have fun with them. Each January I fill these out and get a new vision for the year ahead, I tuck them away and refer to them next year. I am hoping these handouts will allow you to see God’s faithfulness in the past and launch you into the year ahead confident in our Savior’s good good plan for you. Sometimes we can’t understand what God’s doing in the present but His heart print is all over our past. Sometimes we are unable to see through the fog of our fretting as we question what God is doing. David Jeremiah clarifies this for us: “Our faith may be weak, our eyes may be dimmed by sickness, fatigue, but there is no missing what God has done in the past. Seeing His faithfulness in the past we are encouraged to keep trusting Him.” Joni Erickson Tada tells us, “Give God time to make it good.” I love that.

Have fun with the A-Z Highlight page I created just for you. A quick way to recapture some of those moments and a helpful way to jog your memory is to look back at your journal for the year, the papers, invitations and notes you’ve kept. Also pick up your phone and look at your pictures as you look back you will see His faithfulness, you will see prayers answered. The highs and lows of the passing months gives us perspective and always point to our ever present Savior. Enjoy!
